Birch Housing recognises that every person in need of supported living is unique and therefore has unique requirements, specific to their circumstances.
Our approach is highly personalised and our houses are designed to fit around a tenant’s individual needs. We view our houses not just as properties but as homes to create long-term supportive environments in which our tenants can thrive.
All our properties throughout the U.K. are in safe, residential neighbourhoods with easy access to public transport, shops and local amenities. It is as important for us that the people we support not only feel that their individual needs are being taken care of in their home but also that they feel part of a wider community.

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT WITHIN A COMMUNITY AT HOME AND BEYOND
Our Specialist Supported Living accommodation allows vulnerable individuals to live as independently as possible within a safe, supportive environment. While customised to meet the individual needs of each of our tenants, the houses we provide are focused on creating a positive community within the home as much as providing tenants with the life skills, education and access to feel part of and partake in the surrounding community outside.
All our supported housing services staff members are highly trained and have extensive experience in the area. They can offer a range of specialist skills, including working with epilepsy and supporting adults living with a variety of complex needs.
The support we offer to adults living in supported housing can be tailored to suit the individual. Whether they require just a few hours of care on a daily basis or a full roster of support, we can create a bespoke service that suits them perfectly.
Our Supported Living services can help individuals with learning or physical difficulties manage daily tasks such as administration, household chores, personal care, excursions and shopping.
The care and support we provide is tailor-made to individual requirements, spanning a wide range of physical and mental abilities and complex needs.
Support can be provided on a daily basis or as frequently as required, helping individuals not only live independently but live life to the full.
Homeless Housing
A SAFE PLACE TO HELP PEOPLE GET BACK ON THEIR FEET
Our homelessness accommodation model is for people who don’t have a permanent home. This provides them with the stability and support to develop new skills and find employment.
Accommodation for homelessness is focused on helping people develop the emotional and practical skills needed to move into more long-term housing. This can include support with health, including mental wellbeing, drug and alcohol use, managing benefits and debt, developing daily living skills and accessing education, training and employment.
Not only do we provide warmth and shelter but we also provide a valuable opportunity to break the cycle of homelessness and give people the chance of making a new start.
